Disconnecting secondaries a bad idea?
Seen a good engine ruined by high vacuum in intake created by disconnecting the secondaries affecting the power valve.BIll C.

Or perhaps use a "normal" power valve, like maybe a #65 (6.5 in.)? How much chance is there of pulling 6.5" at WOT? Take care. Tom Worthington

If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.

Actually pretty good chance in a healthy engine.
