Spark Plug Wires
I’m replacing ignition items. One thing I wanted to change to was under header sleeved plug wires. I purchased these Moroso Technologies from Smiley’s some years ago on the recommendation of a racer on DRR I believe and have been sitting on the shelf. They were much less in price from what Moroso sells and only difference I can see/ measure is that the sleeves are solid black and the boot ends say Smiley’s.

I pulled the sleeve off the distributor coil wire and the wire was marked Moroso Wire Technologies. These are 350 ohm/ft same as THIS Moroso Ultra model.

I’ve run wires with as much as 200 ohm/ft prior with excellent results. I expect these 350 ohm/ft to be the exact same performance as if I were running the Moroso Ultra 40 or MSD 8.5 Super Conductor with my 7720 Grid. Here’s where they might be superior.

There could be times where ignition interference from spark plug wires could cause unexplainable events in digital devices. Because of the slightly higher resistance of these wires it could possible make a difference in correcting these events.

Analog ignition though, will withstand much more ignition interference and work properly.

I have been running those plug wires for more than 10 years with very good results. My Data Logger monitors most everything and have had no problem with interference.
Highly recommend the Smileys Racing / Moroso Ultra 40 wires.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.
