barrel pumps
For those of you running methanol, what pump are you using to get the fuel out of the barrel when you buy a whole drum?

Not even close to the price of the HF pump but we got a Flo fast pump and the 15gal jug a few weeks ago and we've been very happy so far

I bought the cheap plastic Air master and do not like it. Then I bought the Harbor Freight one and it has been great.

I’ve been using a Woodys Drum Pump, it’s nice and very fast/easy.

The air pump from HF is the best. It's cheap and works great. I've been using it for four years and it still works great. It beats cranking the old pump.

Do you guys leave the air pumps in the drum during off weeks or take it out? I have one from HF just haven't used it yet.

Is THIS the HF air operated barrel pump that others have? Says for Non-Corrosive fluids.

This is the one I use. I have had it since the early 2000's never an issue.

Yes, that's it. I've had it for a few years now and it does have a couple leaks. Probably time for a new one. But it works great and definitely beats the siphon pumps I used to use. I had to replace those regularly also.

There is a TD guy that builds an air operated pump. We have been using it for about 2 years works great.

I will try and get the info.

I always take it out and put the bung back in between uses.

The drums I have been getting lately have a raised shoulder around the bung and the pump seals up well enough to function properly, but it isn't as secure as I'd like.

Bob Henry in Oklahoma sells air operated barrel pumps, I have one and it works great. But I have one of these mounted in my barrel in the trailer with a long hose and a ball valve. Just take to end of the hose to the car and filler up. No jugs

Bought 2 of these pumps around 14 years ago. Still using the first one and have the second as a back up.

They don't screw into the drums I get but I don't care. I fill my jugs up and hang it back on the wall.

Do you just pump long enough to prime and then gravity takes over and it starts to empty the drum without pumping anymore?
