GoobPlastic polish is your only hope.
Maybe block the spot with some 1500 or 2000 paper first?

green1Try headlight polishing kit. You sand the surface first so I would think that may get rid of the messed up plastic then polish. I use them on headlights and they work great.

It would get rid of the Mar Guard too..
I tried plastic polish on my rear window. That did not help so I ordered a new one.

green1I didn’t really think of that.
Well only other thing I could think of and just a guess would be heat. I see videos of people passing a torch over dried out plastic to bring it back. I don’t know if it works just seen videos so don’t hold me to that but a heat gun should do too much damage if you tried it and didn’t get carried away. If it’s gonna be replaced then why not try, that kinda how I am.
