Have you tried Ben Holt? If not I have a source as well who is a dealer, usually pretty quick turn around.

You could not give me one again. I have had two and both would random hang up and refuse to shift.

Totally useless.

I can’t help you find a PPP, but my opinion is Cheetah Turbo Action shifters are excellent for 3 speeds. Simple never fail gating that keeps you from inadvertently advancing or down shifting more than 1 gear position.

My PPP shifters were on Powerglide but both were total junk. If they had them in stock for FREE with free overnight shipping I still would not get another.

Your three speed may be different but I would not take chance.

Kind of surprised on the PPP. I have probably had 10 of them over the years. I will check into the Cheetah.

I get it about steering away from things you haven't had success with. This car had a 7530 MSD and I took it out. I had a bad experience with it and never again.

This car was wired for the PPP, but I know how to re-wire! Smile

I've used PPP shifters on both reverse pattern three speeds, forward pattern three speeds, and power glides...zero issues ever with shifting

I'm thinking of getting an ACD for my Quarterstick, they have refined the controls quite a bit.
If I didn't already have the Quarterstick, I'd probably go with the M&M.

Looks like same design as the PPP shifter, I hope it works better.

Been using the PPP shifter with my
Pro Filte for several years without any issues. Prior to that I used the Turbo Action shifter without issue as well. For what they do, they are pretty simple to work on.

Care to elaborate on the issues you had?

I've been a dealer for them for over 20 years and NEVER , not one time heard of a single issue with any of them, I've sold hundreds of them, installed hundreds of them, and they are the smoothest, easiest shifters on the market for glides, 3 speeds and everything else.

I'd be really curious how you had issues with them

Both of mine would random hang up and refuse to shift. Had two different ones did same thing. Dumped them and got a Biondo.

I found a PPP shifter, new on the shelf. I have just never had bad luck with them. Bought my first one in 1996 from Marv Ripes.

It just about has to be some kind of cable adjustment, linkage mismatch issue. The shifter itself doesn't even have anything to hang up on a 1-2 on a glide shifter. Or really any up shift on any of their shifters.

Were you using their cable, their linkage and their cable mount?
