It costs more and does nothing for you. You can't run Evans antifreeze in your race car, it's glycol based antifreeze. This is the only thing from Evans you can run and be legal.
https://www.evanscoolant.com/products/trackwater/ Basically you're buying a container of water with an additive.

I did and that is interesting, but like all of drag racing track rules override something like that. From tracks I race at, which almost all are IHRA they make it very clear no antifreeze of any type.

The BozmanIf antifreeze ends up on the track that means I have a whole lot worse problems than what the track is going to tell me: IE broken block, holes n oil pan, hole through the radiator, blown head gasket, hole in the cylinder head ....

AlaskaracerWhen I lived in Colorado I always put in antifreeze over the winter. Prestone did the trick for me. Flush it out in the spring and all was well. Here in hot, muggy, humid as hell Florida, just water with additive.....

TomRWhen my car used to sit out on an open trailer, it had antifreeze in it during the cold months. Now that I have an unheated garage, it still has antifreeze in it.
I drain it in the summer and run just water, swap out water for 50/50 solution in the fall.
We tried the rv antifreeze in a dragster and it got really slushy sitting in the enclosed. The following year we went back to antifreeze again.
