"The Bender"Wideband O2?
Anyone running a wideband O2 stand alone system?
I'm looking at the Innovative LM-2 because it logs and you can playback on the hand held unit that comes with it.
This is for a street/strip late model factory EFI car, so it would be helpful in tuning the fuel system.

AlaskaracerI ran the LM2 before I switched to the grid stuff. Worked good, but the two things I didn't like was of you didn't save the run before you powered down you lost it and you have to calibrate the o2's every time you power it up.

jmarkaudioWith the LM2 you just have to stop recording before powering down. Never have to recalibrate unless we get new sensors.

they have a location in Debary Brian, that's where i got my Boost-A-Pump kit.

Also I believe some of the new digital autometer widebands have logging and play back as well. I went with a analog one just for the gauge since my factory ECU logs A/F already. Surprised yours doesn't too (Dodge problems )
edit: something to consider too depending on the tool you are using to deliver the tunes, some offer aux sensors like Diablosport does. I figured you're probably using them or HPT to flash the ECU.

"The Bender"From what I understand the factory o2s are not wide band. And not useful for wide open throttle tuning. The Diablo I'm using will interface with a wideband O2 system, but I really wanted a stand-alone system. Ended up getting a system from Innovative. I can hide the whole system under the dash and mount a separate record button to stop and start recording, plus it uses an SD card I like that feature also. The Daytona sensors system records any time the system is on, didn't care for that.

SCDIV1I had an LM-1 on my EFI LT-1 Firebird and it worked well. Handheld unit that I used all the time during time runs. Had it hooked up and on the passenger seat. Just turned it on and pushed record after doing a burnout. Was pretty helpful to a guy who knew nothing about EFI. That was back in 2005-2006
I bought a datalogger for my Accel DFI unit and that was just nowhere near as easy to read as the Innovate unit.
Fast forward to a few years ago and I bought a Daytona Sensor unit and it’s on my dragster.
Just hoped it might help tuning carb for better S/C cruise rpm mixture. Maybe identify rich or lean condition.
I’ve never gotten any useful data from it. I found it difficult to read like the Accel datalogger.
Admittedly it’s partly me and my lack of patience with this stuff.
I have a switch on my dash to turn the Daytona unit on. It’s programmable for what triggers it to record. Laptop, software....
The LM-1 I believe was discontinued and they made the LM-2.
I removed the sensor after time runs.
I got yelled at once going across the scales with my Stocker for having that LM-1 in sight. Was told that was not legal. Head of our divisions tech.
After that I just unplugged it and tossed it behind the passenger seat on the return road...
Only ever used it on time runs trying fuel map changes...

I disagree... My LM2 worked perfectly. Only issue is I kept forgetting to shut off the recording before killing the power....and I'd lose the recording....but that was my fault.
