PineApple Express RacingI did a modification to get these lights from Jegs. They no longer make these lights. But here is what I did. I also set the lights up so when I put the truck in reverse the back and rear side lights also go on. It set up with some relays and they are all made to switxch on one by one.

BuckyReally good thinking with the reverse lights turning them on. I like it. The hardest part of installing the little ones I used was running the wires. I like those long fixtures too.

AlaskaracerI was thinking of getting flood pattern 50" light bars and using them...two or three along the side of the trailer. Can install mounts along the top rail and easily remove the lights....still undecided though...

I have had these for about 5 years now. They fit right in and have a plug that plugs right into the normal light bulb terminals. Took 2 min to install the first one and way less for the other 3.

BP758While doing some trailer upgrades and repairs I replaced the 8' lights with the costco 4' LED motion sensor with remote control. x3 Turned out really nice! very bright and totally adjustable. I kike that I can leave the switch on, walk in and they are on. Has time feature too. Replaced all 12 volts with LED! Nice!! Next are the floods. Ramp door broke a torsion spring, ordered from 365 Garage doors...Nobody local will sell just spring assy! They want to do a service call and replace it all. I am hands on and not cheap but really! 650 bucks vs 60!

TD3550Those Solara's are bad to the bone. I even have them at the house. Went right into the buckets.
Electric bill came down 28.00 a month.

undacuva67Solaras works great and had for several years . They did not quite fit my buckets but I just siliconed the sides to hold them in place .

Buck2248On the Solara ones how do you know which ones to buy? They have 3000 cool white 5000 etc which ones are best for our trailers to light up the pit area? Thanks

Curly1On my new house and shop I will be using LED exclusively. Much better lighting, cheaper to operate and I like the brightness and color of the light. Plus they last longer than typical lights so in long run will be cheaper.
I have already converted much of the lights in my trailers to LED.
