WOndering if anyone has a ABA testing on ceramic bearings in rear end assembly. More interested in just carrier and axle bearings but figured odds more against just those. Already have front spindle bearing set for car and looking around got me wondering how much they are worth gain wise. I know the cost part. Just wondering. For now anyway.LOL America home of free. Chris, very pricey deal a friend did it on his stocker rear end and front wheel bearings. It was a little easier to push but it only picked up between eight and nine thou..... He did not have to pay , but was told it would have been way over $1,000 because of all the machining done HAVE THEY CALLED US YET ? THEY HAVE!!!

everybody races for their own reasons. To some its just go out and make hits and race. For some its the challenge of building something and making it fast as you can get with what you have .Fors some it who can spend the most a have the biggest priced toy. Non really wrong. HEY I have been 5.70's at 250 and loved hell out of it. I spent every moment living those cars and racing. I did w/o a lot of stuff most call having life. But I was racing and I was running fast(well the car I built and tuned was) as for funny and my TA/D was no slouch just ran out of money before got to do much with it. I don't run slow cars, not anything wrong with those who do.Actually they are smarter in lots of ways.Just not my deal. If it takes longer to run because of speed so be it. Me I like running car and competition.I like making something I built run fast.I like doing it little different than most and proving I can do that and still runs a fast, faster or in this case fast and consistent . We all are spending money for something we enjoy and should enjoy it the way we desire. Hell my pockets are so shallow you can touch bottom and never get finger past opening. I will how ever skip or do w/o if I think I can make car faster.Like I rarely have drink at lunch because they cost almost 2 bucks. That times 20 or so a month is 40 bucks. Not much but adds up to enough to buy a set of ceramic bearing for my car and if that's .02.That means my car in .03 quicker for not drinking a few sodas that would have been bad for my diabetes in first place. Easy Chris wasn’t trying to criticize I was just trying to tell you where I’m at . It’s not for me to judge how fast others want to go. As a bracket racer all I want is a consistent car that’s easy to maintain . As you see we come from different worlds.... HAVE THEY CALLED US YET ? THEY HAVE!!!

See now I thought that was easy and explained difference in views. Yes or no. I too was not judging folks for how fast they wanted to race, but rather explaining that for me SPEED i important. Hell why else would one ave Harley with 170 hp motor with another 75 shot of NOS? Then get bored with it because he can't afford more power for it because blower cost abut 4500 for bike. Then start building a race car after having gone thru cpl small fortunes running TA/FC and TA/D. Different worlds no.Just enjoying same thing in different manor. Its like a$$men and tit men.Same women just give more preference to different parts.LOL Read any of my last 15 post and will see someone telling run the car worry about_____ later. When I wasn't worried it about to start just asking question for either others view or that weird thing a fact or two. Then easy to see why one might jump in defence of doing things the way they want or can afford at the moment. No offence taken or meant in any replies here or other threads. Well not since site became lot more friendly place while back. America home of free. Brought to you by 2nd amendment.

A Harley with 170 HP is useless to a canyon ride, rather ride my old FXR with stock bore and stroke of a 1340 but pushing 90 HP... to each is own . Never seen a stock frame that could handle 170 plus horsepower....you must be dragging your floorboards around big time... OH and who the heck needs saddlebags, useless weight. I only need the clothes on my back to go riding, if I need something along the way I'll buy it.... Only old guys ride bikes with floorboards anyway no matter how fast....Hahaha Chris, sure wish you lived closer , I would get a trailer over to your house and help you get that FED to the track.... we all still waiting for that day to happen...Best of luck buddy...This message has been edited. Got to have some place for ammo. Funny story.Last cross country(nc to California and back). On first day my bike was leaning left little when riding in recliner position and hands free. Changed ammo and revolver to right saddle bag, kept 45 in left and bike went straight as arrow. 100% true story. Saddle bags do allow weight carried to be lower and easy access can open my bags while running 100 and remove above mentioned toys if needed. Although most times 45 is under right arm in should rig for full throttle use if needed.LOL On 7000 mile road trip they do come in handy. Nobody alive wants car at track more than I do.At same time with age comes commitments like family getting older and with them having give to you all your life only right to be helping them when needed.
