What MPH are you guys seeing on your average 4.70/4.80 dragster? For the guys who run 1/4 what is your 1/8 to 1/4 MPH. Mine seems to be in the 141-142 and 171-172 range. Seems low to most similar cars in my area.

Mid 4.70s at 144, 7.50 at 177/8 in average air. Yours seems a little low, what does it 60’? How big is the engine, converter stall, gear ratio?

Going low 4.80's I am at about 142-143. Only really touched 143 when I went 4.80x one morning with real good air, typically I am 142 though everywhere. Nick Craig 1971 Camaro Split Bumper 376ci LS3

Interesting we go 4.62-4.65 but at only 147/148 I think it should be a high 4.50/60 150ish in bad air but just can't tune it there on alky terminator. Any suggestions?

My best at Bandimere in 9800ft of air was 4.82/144 1/8, 7.56/179.9 1/4 (same run). I haven't ran much here since moving, lots going on, but one pass I did make at Immokalee I went 4.82/148, in first gear, spinning....... I forgot to turn on the co2! Gonna finally start running the car again next month.... been too long! You ran 148 mph in low gear? What rpm were you at? Just curious. ____________________________ 2017 and 2018 Osage Casinos Tulsa Raceway Park No-Box Champion 2018 Div4 Goodguys Hammer award winner

Somewhere around 9k....... wasn't planned, engine nosed over and I checked the tach. Saw the needle in that neighborhood and smacked the shifter. About that time I went past the finish line. I'll post my time slip if I can find it. I got scared that I hurt something with the rpms, but I didn't find anything after looking it over. Trust me, I was surprised at the run. I'm still wondering what it would have ran if it hooked and shifted!!
