This summer I will be upgrading my SST s-10 to tubular control arms and coil over shocks. Need some recommendations from those that have made this upgrade. Who's control arms did you use and your experience with them. Next, coil over shocks, again, who's is the best price for the buck. BTW, this a leaf spring w/ caltracks and 9 way adjustable's, small tire. Thanks

I have Speedway uppers on my 97. Unless you go to a shock builder, I would not recommend coil overs as off the shelf parts dont have any stored energy. We replaced the QA1 coil overs with Afco BNC's and Moroso 47130 springs. SBC, powerglide - runs 6.20 @ 109 @ 3080 pounds.

I went with TRZ upper and lower arms with Viking crusader double adjustable coil overs. I too have Caltracs on split mono's but a big tire.
Truck has been mid 1.30's 60' off the transbrake and just works,I also have a anti-roll bar.
Truck rides like a Cadillac.
I have about 5" of suspension travel and that's plenty.
We just switched our Firebird over to the Viking's and lost almost 2" of suspension travel. It works great also and thats on a small tire.
