If you are running a SLE I have both of my high gear cars wired so the SLE sends 12v to a relay that activities and sends a ground to a button. The only downfall is if you happen to forget to hit the SLE you have no button. Might have happened to me 800 miles from home and first car out after the anthem. Laughing Hard

have sle but not using it as I don't like timing thats controlled by delay on it. I know not issue for most but long discussion here and I am just that damn hard headed about it.

I just need to learn to leave some buttons along and how to work delay box better. Hey its been 25 years since I had anything like delay box. In TA/D delay box mean damn driver waited too long to let clutch out.

Ah you are still running the K&R box. With that box using 12v buttons it's even easier no need for the relay.

Just another suggestion on your trans issue - check out the stator location in the pump. Had one that the stator tube hole and the pump were just barely seeing each - I was just able to get a .015 piece of welding wire into the lubrication hole. It took out the reverse pack big time and smoked the high gear pack a bit too. And it was a new performance pump from a east coast trans company.
