Aerospace brakes

Every manufacturer of aftermarket brakes, sends shims, for a reason. Not every spindle or axle housing end is ever the same, from OEM. They are lower end, but they can be decent.
I swapped out the OE brakes on a previous car, to Aerospace, and they needed the shims.
After that, they were great. It wasn’t a fast car, but the reduced rolling resistance, was awesome. They worked fine for 7/8 yrs.
As I said, it wasn’t a fast car, only went 111 in 1/4, but I got what I paid for.

Maybe try swapping calipers from side to side to see if the problem follows. If it follows then it’s the caliper if it doesn’t then it most likely then flex line. The fact that it keeps happening on same one tends to say you are looking in wrong spot for the problem.

I always thought the Aerospace stuff seemed fiddly. As in way more screws and bolts than needed. Kind of English. Why use just six bolts when 20 will do the job?

I sell another brand mentioned here and feel like they have an acceptable product for the money but have had to help with initial setup. And like I said in my response I never had an issue with sticky pistons. I set them up as they said to do in instructions and they worked flawlessly. Any time I jacked up my car the wheels spun freely.
I have strange brakes on my current ride and don’t notice any difference in performance compared to aerospace.

you won't find aerospace brakes on anything other than home built, no name cars. Professional chassis builders install...Lamb, MW, Strange and Moser.

99.9% of the drag cars on the planet are homebuilt.

99.9 % of the cars from Sunshine & Bradenton run Aerospace.

Rarely do you hear anyone having a glitch.

There's more home built factory condition front & back seat delete n/a sbc Nova's than you can shake a stick at. You don't need a Dragzine article to tell you, you're quickest 1/8 mile 3200 lbs on a 10 x 28.

All ya gotta do is look around any drag strip ya go, to know.

You'll be doing good to find one in the 6 teens but, it'll have one of these "nationally known engine builders" engines you tout in it, not one they built, along with a transmission they themselves built. Big difference.

I called Aerospace ONE TIME. Asked about their vacuum pumps. Said I needed SBC brackets. He made some smart assed dismissive remark about not making junk for small blocks, and we were done. Lots of years ago. I generally don't forget that stuff.
BTE hosed me ONE TIME as well and that was the last time.
