Always used the Wiseco Quick 16 or the Quick 8 pistons. They come coated also standard. He can put the pin anywhere you want also.

I don’t know who you’ve tried for a cam, but I just had a custom grind from Erson at my doorstep in about 2 weeks.

My understanding is for the SB2 that I am working on only Comp and LSM can make the cam core. Plus mine is the 50 mm roller bearing journals which makes it a little more scarce. In fact I was told not sure how true it is that the SB2 cams from Comp are actually done by LSM for them. Bullet can not get the cam core and even fro the smaller one if they could get it would have to be under 108 lobe separation and .410 max lift which will not work. LSM I think machines the custom cams like that from billet? In any case they can go as large as I want but it is 16 weeks wait........

I've used both JE and Gibtec. Never had any issues with either, prefer Gibtec, but went with JE this last time around. Two week delivery time vs. 16-18 weeks..... JE came in 125 grams lighter as well, but not nearly as nicely finished....

I went with the CP Carillo, they were a little more money but I think for this motor best choice.

These are gas ported pistons and I forgot which ring package we decided on. 16 to 1 compression with my heads. Cam is .875 and on order as is most other critical parts. Should be 925-950 Hp and then will use restrictor plate to slow down for the index.
Already know this one is going to take several days on dyno to get peak power and then with restrictor plates to get target so I know what to do with torque converter. As always I will use a Hughes converter once I get dyno sheets.

Well, I've never installed a high performance piston that I didn't massage and detail by hand anyway.

How much do you think you will have to kill for the index?

Probably about .2, If I have to kill more than that may go with lower ratio rockers.
