| I used a dark blue metallic for some lettering on my boat years ago. Really pops in the sun. I always wanted to paint my car that color. It is a Mazda color from about 2001. We rode through car lots to find it. I'd also look at VW colors. Really nice colors on the beetles over the last 15 years.

| Great suggestion superpro54. J178red the kona blue looks good online. I am indecisive like my alcohol or gas choice was. I'm not opposed to other color suggestions to look at. My friend who is going to paint it has time this afternoon to go to Lubbock to pick out paint so decision is being made today. Thanks for everyone's time.

| I really like the copperhead pearl metallic color Dodge has used on their trucks. I saw a late model Vette Roadster body painted with it a couple years ago and man it was nice. GM has a Fusion Orange that's similar.

| Hard to argue against blue. Two reasons. Most everything I have ever owned is blue. Number one reason.Sky is blue and water(before man screws it up) blue and water covers 2/3 the earth so my guess is God likes blue too. China pearl blue works for me,but then had 4 funny cars and two dragsters that color and when I can afford paint job for few it will be too.

| I went a total different direction. 2 reasons my buddy who was getting panels stripped had already began painting. The other reason is the wife had idea about paint so when I'm done with it I will try to figure out how to post pics. Before fire -- and pic of dragster in burnt up trailer and when done. Every bolt nut and part has to be rubbed cleaned or replaced. I am almost done with chassis and parts. Going to be plain looking for a while. Hope to race this weekend in Amarillo.
