Got a weekends worth of racing in a few weeks ago and all went well !!
Hitting the tree deep was no problem at all, needed about 800 more rpm's than leaving in first. Car repeated pretty damn good considering we made no other changes other than leaving in high and the trans made minimal heat considering it rode the converter for 300'. Truck been running 6.30's/10.0's @ 109/136 with a 1.46ish 60' deepstaged. Only got one one 1/4 mile pass in and it went 7.088/10.747 @ 106.60/134.64 with a 1.835 60'
Man it left like a slug !!! Barely lifted the front end off the bump stops lol Next time out was a 3 day 1/8 mile race and it hovered around the 7.12 to 7.14 range @ 106 and the 60's were in the 1.86 range.
Definitely not something we plan on using much but it's a nice option to have when need be as it looks Maple Grove may be our new home track if Atco goes away.
