Going to be in the market for a shifter soon for my new project. I've used and liked the B&M Pro Bandit in the dragster. I am also considering the Biondo Elite Outlaw shifter. https://www.biondoracing.com/p...t/EO-BLACK-ELEC.html

Who here has one and any pros and cons?

Don’t take this the wrong way Ed but as picky as you are about wanting things to look clean and neat that looks like a bunch of complicated crap in the floorboard. If I were the OP I would either go with the aforementioned B&M or the Biondo. Even the Precision Performance Products is cleaner and more compact. Good luck with whatever you pick!

Do you have that shifter in a door car or a dragster?

Vern, nothing complicated about it, very clean actually....Cheetah Turbo Action shifter mounted on a piece of aluminum plate to which the Lokar Interior Battery Disconnect Lever is now mounted where previously the MSLE aka stage controller was mounted.

Might have the shifter plate and the ignition plate powder coated in the off season to match the roll bar/interior.

This is the shifter I have in my Dragster and Altered. I really like it, what I like about it over one you were looking at is it is easy to put in Reverse and park with one hand plus it is very narrow giving me more room in the car. I had a Performance Products shifter in it and could not stand it! Junk would hang up sometimes and refuse to shift! Junk!

Curly, I had a shifter very similar to that in a dragster, didn't really like how easy it was to put it in reverse. For me I would accidentally put it reverse on occasion...

Lol, I never once had a problem with mine. But the Performance Products that so many claim is so great I could not stand.

I have the Pro Bandit in my roadster and it is a great shifter. Smooth action and easy to clean. I can't imagine the one you asked about would be any different.

I like the fact that you can't put it into reverse in one motion.

No way would I run a Cheetah. Those things are just too large and ugly. Everyone has different preferences though.

B&M uses the standard multi hole shifting arms. The Quarter Pro and Elite shifters are ******* Style and do not inter change. Have both shifters, with upgrades this last winter discovered this with the Biondo shifter, Stay with the B&M.
