Last night when the Tesla lost I scared the bajesus out of my wife jumping up and down screaming with joy. She thought I had lost my mind but I told her it was an all electric car and she gave me a high 5 as said good riddance.

A truly life-changing event. I collapsed to the ground and wept.

The get behind game has been hilarious to watch. Racer after racer squandering their R/T advantage at the stripe. Laughing very hard

I hear ya. I feel bad for all the guys that spend the $$ to run these races that gets knocked out buy the kid only having to cut a light. Nothing against the Hoff's, as I have raced with George for years and have a lot of respect for him, but that isn't right.

Not sure if you saw the post-race interview with Mr.Laster last night but he was spot on with everything he said. He seems like a great Christian man. God Bless

Agreed, on a 7.40 EV with few moving drivetrain parts, doesn’t spin the tires, ECM controlled power invertor. This vehicle is equipped with wheel speed sensors. Somehow, this is alright. SFG rules state “ Stutter boxes, slew rate controllers, or other similar devices are PROHIBITED”. IMHO the ECM with wheel speed sensors in these vehicles are the equivalent of a “slew rate controller, OR, Other similar devices”.

So we cant run any electric devices that will make the car run the same dial all week, in varying weather and track conditions, but a kid can put a grid or whatever in an electric vehicle and run the dial all week.....Got it...

Somewhere Richard Matty is going WTF. Roll Eyes

I know the car count was low, but I haven't heard anyone on any of the podcasts or articles anywhere talk about the payout. Did they get enough cars to get to the 400k mark? I know we have giant paying races every weekend now, but pretty surprised by the lack of talk this race and overall event has received. I did notice they had the guy from a couple years back announcing again, I really don't care for him, but it seems SFG has ran off all the good announcers.

As I’ve stated numerous times, it will be a very long time if ever s bracket racer takes home $1,000,000. First they have to get the cars to pay the full purse then your have to get the drivers to agree to no split which will never happen!

I don’t know what Travis took home but if the split was like all the rest he kicked backed 60% which means he left with $100k which is nice but a far cry from “life changing money” these races are marketed as.
