Weekend Races - Weather Updates and Announcements
Racers due to the crazy weather patterns going on right now, the 3 Featured Races for this weekend are in limbo with decisions being made hourly. This is a very stressful time for promoters so give them time to make the best decisions possible.

Here are some of the latest from them

NO LIMIT PROMOTIONS - 8am Tuesday Morning

Good morning racers! Please know that we are working on a final decision for this weekend’s events. First and foremost, we want (and wanted) to make sure there was no overnight swing in the weather. The last thing we want to do is call off a race that has been advertised all year and folks have pre registered for due to a premature decision.

We also want to be able to make this call early enough racers can cancel hotel rooms and travel plans.

Wesley and Danny are being hammered with messages, phone calls and texts. Please give them time to work out details and don’t be upset if they can’t answer or respond right away.

Thanks to all of our racing family for the support and stay tuned!

Huntsville 3-10's Weekend

Alright folks, we are well aware of the forecast for the weekend. We want to get this race in, so we’re giving Mother Nature some time to make her mind up before we make a call. By lunch on Wednesday we will have a decision for you. Check back for updates then. Thank y’all for your support!

SFG PROMOTIONS

Due to a 90 percent chance of rain from Wednesday until Sunday the No Dragster Nationals in Mooresville will be rescheduled. We are currently working on the best possible date. The date we are eyeing is June 14-17. If the rescheduled date doesn't work for you it can be transferred to another SFG event. Please spread the word.

The Night of Fire and Thunder in Denver isn't looking too good either. Still planning on going though.

There are a bunch of racers on another message board up in arms about this race only having one day of qualifying/time runs rather than two. The horror!

Everyone gets three time trials or qualifying sessions on Friday!

Should be enough for most!

MDIR No Limit Triple Crown cancelled due to inclement weather.

With many racers preparing to hit the road and head out, the decision has been made to pull the plug on this weekend’s event at MDIR. The weather just isn’t improving and we’ve waited as long as possible for it to do so.

No Limit will announce it’s schedule amendments and game plan within the upcoming weeks.

In the interim, the weather looks as if it may be partially clearing for Sunday. MDIR “may” contest a test and tune event or the No Limit crew may look at tossing up a $10,000 to win bracket race. Please let us all know your thoughts and thanks so much for being patient while we worked through these difficult conditions.

SOUTH GEORGIA LUCAS OIL RACE POSTPONED

CECIL, Ga. – NHRA and South Georgia Motorsports Park officials announced today that based on the current weather conditions at South Georgia and the forecast this week leading up to the scheduled NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event, the decision has been made to postpone the event until September 7-8, 2018.

The mid-week forecast for the South Georgia area calls for continued thunderstorms through the week. Even if the weather system does break up by the weekend, the venue will be saturated to the point that racers will not receive the best experience that NHRA and South Georgia Motorsports Park want to provide to the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series participants and fans.

Looking at weather models throughout the summer, the best option is to move the event into our fall block of events with a new date of September 7-8. The daily schedule will remain the same.

The weather forecast has not changed for Denver. I'm pulling the plug. Can't risk a thousand mile round trip just to sit in the rain.

Bandimere will try again today. Washed out the last two days. Doesn’t look real good for this afternoon with an 80% chance of rain. I’m going to head out there in a while anyway.
