Anyone know anything about the new owners? Have they made any statements? Also, when does this take place?

Through a unique agreement with Steve Earwood, who has owned, operated and upgraded the multi-purpose facility since buying it from the L.G. Dewitt family in 1992, Gennarelli, 49, and Van Horn, 47, will spend the next two years observing events at the track and learning the basics of racetrack operation before assuming full ownership in October, 2022.
In the interim, Earwood emphasized that it will be business as usual at The Rock with a full slate of diverse events...

Don Higgins Crew Chief Pro SoftwareAlways liked the track. Ran the divisional last year and it was top notch. Lost in the semis when the air bottle line had a crack and lost all the air backing up from the burnout.
I saw a top sportsman car over drive it at night and get into trouble, but it didn't appear to be a track issue.
Glad to see it will be in good hands.

wideopen231Track is about 90 miles from house.
I have seen it where track itself was very good(was NHRA event) . I have seen it suck,That was a test-n- tune deal. Most of the time it was good.
No its not the nicest pits or best restrooms there is. What it is or has been is a open drag racing track.

ferndaleflyerGot a little more info on these 2 guys from NCMA this morning. 2 things that stood out, one of them owns a concrete company and they seem to indicate they plan to re do the track surface. Now understand the person that did Galot owns a concrete company as well as the current owner, leaser, of Darlington who did all of the up dates. Anyway they say they are going to remove the rough edges at the track--all for the better. Didn't mention Ed????
