Fixed. It shakes our windows when the neighbors set it off. Big Grin Worried me the first time because I figured their propane had exploded or something. Take care. Tom Worthington

If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.

If you don't shoot you are not country!

You don't shoot your own turkeys and deer. They are great to see and watch out the windows. I am however trying to get shots at coyotes. I don't seem to get many opportunities considering how many we hear at night.

How does coyote taste? Think I will stick to deer and just pop coyote if it walks by so as to check my scope.

Lots of Pheasants, Quail(many), Turkey, some Deer and I can hear Wiley at night but have not seen one. A few Fox too. I released two hen Pheasants when we moved here. They have been back three times and now found Rooster Cogburn! Doubt if they come back but I still feed. I see traces of hogs so I put out cracked corn tube.... Big Grin

I saw a coyote this past week while mowing my yard, couldn't find it in the woods after I retrieved my deer rifle.
As far as deer and turkey in my yard they are safe but once they leave the yard they are fair game.

Thanks, Tom! ;^) You know, out at my mom's old farm place there are some 3' diameter logs from an old cottonwood tree. I'm thinking trying to auger holes in them and pack 'em full of Tannerite heheh.

When there are more coyotes in your neighborhood than people, and the cat population is zero.

When they are cooking so much meth on the local “res” (Reservation) at night you have to close your windows because the air burns your skin.

When the closest stop sign is more than six miles away.

When local transportation is still a horse.

When the only thing to wipe with in the out house is a corn cob because Sears don't send catalogs anymore.

..... when you're driving down the road, and have to stop for 20 minutes .. to let the cows cross.

..... when you're driving on a two-way highway, and cars pass you on the left side and 'right shoulder' .. at the same time!

..... and, when people are driving 30 mph in a 55 mph zone .... Smile

Sure do---Fern is 77 years old and was born so far back in the woods we had to pipe the sunshine in and the moonshine out....I was 7 or 8 before we even had electric, no car, grew everything we ate, farmed with horses, cooked on a wood stove----hard to imagine.

These are good !! Makes me laugh.

Giving directions a lost car load, and using the vegetable stand, down the road, close to the highway, for a landmark. That usually makes them change their expression !

You have to put in the effort, to get anything out of it.

And directions that include the phrase "used to be". As in, "Go down to where that big vegetable stand used to be and then turn left..." Take care. Tom Worthington
