In all seriousness, like with any illness I hope for the best for people who it does affect their health.

But that being said, I spoke with one of our advertisers yesterday who I'll leave name out of it, but will possibly profit from this outbreak.

You see they do quite a bit of business with a company who has products manufactured in China. Now they are expecting a large void in production due to this outbreak over there and the shut down of products.

This company asked our advertiser if they would be able to ramp up and handle the additional work!!! Yeah!

As a company you always look for issues to happen with your competitors that will allow you to grab market share of business. This will probably be one. Maybe they will be able to retain some of this additional business in the future.

Makes me wonder if we will see more of this also.

How quickly can you start pouring castings for cranks and rods. I expect the street race crowd to run out of Eagle stuff pretty quick. LOL

For my auto repair business, parts availability will be the issue...….

I have noticed a downturn in phone calls and some missed appointments today, probably going to continue for awhile....

Anybody buying stock these days?
I bought a bunch of Ford stock yesterday, I expect it could go even lower but at the price now the dividend amounts to over 11%.
The problem is if it stays there very long they may suspend the dividend.

TAKE IT TO THE BANK!!!!!
Later, Bill Koski

A friends wife works at local company called LabCorp and he said she just bought a butt load more stock. Since I am not buying any I guess its not insider trading if anyone here does. By the way if I don't buy then its sure fire bet to make money.LOL

Labcorp is also one of the ones named in few news stories on coronavirus either the test kits or cure not sure but either one will make it climb. Just food for thought.

We stopped buying stocks a few years ago, doing property now. I am willing to bet the housing market will make a shift from a sellers market to a buyers market over the next few weeks. We are set to buy a few more properties to turn into rentals.

I think the housing market will be sellers market for a while here anyway. Realtors are telling us they still have hard time finding houses for those wanting to buy.If a house goes up for sale that's a mid range home it normally sales in 2 to 3 weeks tops and some sale same week.

Not saying its ever bad idea.

Not spending as much money on fuel now. Gas prices were as low yesterday as I have seen in a very long time.

I buy into the market every two weeks in three accounts regardless of the noise. “Stay the course.... nobody knows nothin’”

Of course, I am mid 30’s. My asset allocation would be much different if I were older.

Same here but diesel hasn't moved. $1.00 difference between diesel and gasoline price (87 octane).
