The $40K is the biggest doorcar payout of the year, with an incredible super sized custom Loose Rocker Eagle trophy to the winner. T.G. Paschal won the inaugural event last year, besting the 250-car field.

We know everyone looks at the weather. We've been tracking multiple sources to identify the trend of forecast changes for this weekend's Summit SuperDoorCar Challenge, Sept 11-13. We'll continue to monitor things, and let the forecast shake out overnight. We'll make any necessary decisions and have an announcement Thursday morning.

This big, heavy custom Loose Rocker $40K Eagle was assembled this afternoon. Just need to add the plates, and see who the deserving champion is!

The weatherman misses AGAIN... looking like 3 great days of racing now, so come on, come on! We will be racing on our original schedule.

Would've been nice to have this forecast all week, but a forecast turning much better certainly beats the alternative...

As per usual, if you were unable to make Friday, you may single enter the Saturday 40K and double enter the Sunday 10K for the $475 discount deal.

Congratulations to now 2-time Loose Rocker winner, Larry Chapman of Ronnie Roberts Racing for capturing the Friday $10K Eagle at the Summit Racing Equipment Super Doorcar Challenge. The RRR Nova itself is a 2-time winner as well, as Eric Aman scored an American Doorslammer Nationals $20K with it in 2014.

Travis Harvey wheeled the Rountree Racing S-10 to the runner-up, while Arnold Smith was the lone semifinalist.

It was a champions showdown battle royale in the 3K Gamblers final, with Joe Gary edging out Tommy Plott. Glenn Ferguson was the lone semifinalist.

After a trying day of on and off misty rain delays with nothing on the radar, things finally got into a groove with some INCREDIBLE racing. Friday's gambler's winner Joe Gary was still doubled down to 8 in the Saturday main event. He advanced one entry into the semifinals, joining Jon Corbin, Randall Blinson, and Ernie Humes as curfew loomed. The final two rounds will be completed on Sunday, and we'll round out the weekend with the $10K Finale.

Sunday 1-day $10K entry: $150

Lil Ernie Humes III made Loose Rocker history by adding a top bulb 40K title to his 40K footbrake title, solidifying him as one of the most versatile drivers in the country. Humes earned the Summit Racing Equipment Super Doorcar Challenge in a double breakout contest over Friday's gamblers winner Joe Gary. John Corbin and Randall Blinson were the semifinalists.

Joe Hartsell ended an incredible string of runs with a trip to the 10K Finale winner's circle on Sunday of the Summit Racing Equipment Super Doorcar Challenge at Piedmont Dragway. Scott Macy was runner-up, with Carey Long and Randy Sessoms filling the semifinal podium spots.
