Do not know if Gainesville or Emerald Coast are running yet.

Yes, Emerald Coast is open and Gainesville has a two day event next weekend I believe...I raced Bradenton on May 9th, like you, and will be at Orlando tomorrow...

Iowa tracks are starting to trickle open. Lots of push to open the Illinois tracks. They have a nicely outlined plan even. I don't think Pritzker has any interest in opening anything, but legally he is running out of traction. People have realized that the governor's orders are not laws, and have little teeth when it comes to being sited or arrested. I'm not sure how tracks can even be shut down legally even if they are not practicing social distancing. Frankly I think it's just a good idea to roll with the 6' flow and get these tracks back on their feet. Worry about whether we want to stop distancing at a later date. Pick your battles.

Statement of the Illinois Sheriffs’ Association:

"“Illinois Sheriffs have been elected by their local citizens to keep their communities safe, a trust that every sheriff and sworn law enforcement officer holds dear. It is outrageous that the Governor is threatening retaliation against these leaders and the men and women of their offices. He is insulting heroic police officers, corrections officers and local voters.”

The Governor again indicated that local law enforcement will face consequences for their statements about how they view the enforce-ability of his executive orders. Apparently, these consequences now include the threat of litigation and loss of funding, including funding that has been designated through the Federal Cares Act that was designated to units of local government. The Governor and his office have repeatedly talked about consulting organizations/groups of impacted experts on issues as they arise. Unfortunately, one of the groups that has never been included are the Sheriffs of this State, nor its representative organization, the Illinois Sheriffs’ Association. It is extremely frustrating to hear these continued comments in response to those that may not agree with his positions. Sheriffs were elected by their counties to keep them safe and they will continue to do so."

All 49 states are open for racing.

The question should be, what track owners are American men and what track owners are willing to give up their rights on the whim of a treasonous polititcian?

Its plain as day the mass flooding of foreign fucs since WW2 ended has watered down this countries spirit. Real Americans dont tolerate this bullshyt. They dont drive around wearing masks and gloves like a retard and certainly dont think this was anything but a zipper headed act of war and socialist a hole politicians trying to kill the country and strip our rights.

FUC YOU CHINA
FUC YOU PELOSI AND YOUR ***** DAUGHTER
FUC YOU PRITZKER YOU FAT FUC POS, EAD
FUC YOU SHYT FOR BRAINS AOC, TAKE A BATH WITH A TOASTER

If you own a racetrack, grow a set of balls and open the fucn thing.

All I know is that if you race somebody from Illinois, take it easy on us this year.

Illinois will easily be the very last of the states to open (if ever),consequently,we have had very little time to test and practice in this state.

I hope you’re wrong, but it doesn’t look very good as of today and hope the Governor will wisely consider using the Illinois Motorsports Coalition's 8-STEP plan for a return to racing in the state. The neighboring states offering racing are benefiting from this shutdown and racers will travel greater distance to compete if necessary.

Because of this I believe Byron will not open for their usual 3 day Memorial weekend event, but Cedar Falls Iowa yesterday listed a Sat / Sun $5k race that’ll probably be well attended as the SFG 300 is being run there the following weekend.

Earlville is opening this weekend (weather permitting) to test and Onawa already opened at the start of the month, so that'll be all of them in the state.

Edit: I knew I was forgetting one. Pacific Junction has also already been open for a couple weeks.

Governor of TX just said no fans in the stands for this weekends Lonestar nationals. Race will be available PPV on Bangshift.com, $15 for Friday and Saturday.

This is a combo race, NHRA regional with TAD and TAFC only combined with a Midwest Pro Mod event with TD, TS, old school back half and Jr dragsters

Xtreme Raceway Park in Ferris, TX is restarting their bracket series this weekend. Saturday points race will also be run with Outlaw Fuel Altereds, which is normally a fairly big spectator draw. No idea if or how they plan to manage the "social distancing" of fans, especially at the starting line. Not my problem, just a curiosity.
Any of you who have done some racing in this Corona mess, has there been any concern or effort to control that aspect? (Personally, I freaking HATE the starting line crowd deal, I think this would be a great opportunity to ban it altogether, and for good). Unless you are running Nitro, Pro-Mod, TAD or TAFC, should be no more than 1-2 crew members only, (per racer), anywhere between water box and starting line, and none beyond there, IMHO.

XRP will be most likely packed this weekend and we will be racing 20 miles down the road at the Motorplex Lone Star nationals with no fans allowed per the governor, figure that one out.
XRP has a grandstand capacity of about 4000 I think and the starting line and fence is always packed. Hard to social distance. TX Motorplex will hold about 25000 in the stands. They could allow 5000 in and easily social distance everyone but were told no fans allowed

Our bracket race last weekend, other than encouraging us to buy tickets online, wasn't any different than normal. I actually preferred the online ticket. Roll up tell her my name and in you go. Still had to sign the waver though so there is a breakdown right at the beginning. LOL

Our local track had one event and then was shut down by the County and State.

The casinos are open and packed with people but you can't have more than 25 people at an outdoor event.

These democrats running Oregon just don't have any common sense.
