As an engineer the installed and maintained many programmable Combustion Turbine control systems, I’ve always marveled the non electronic control systems in power generation. In the 80’s and 90’s I upgraded from pneumatic controls on dozens of conventional plants using Bailey Net 90 and Westinghouse WDPF. Later upgraded those to ABB Sympathy plus and Emerson Ovation. Some very interesting times
