Has anyone done this? These are not huge slicks, but a street 275/45/17 tire. Bender, i ordered a spare tire and rim for my trailer a few months ago it came in mounted and aired up. Should be a non issue, in my case it was just 1 tire, not sure what happens with 4 of them. Trailer tire is 235x75x15. | |||

A number of years ago I shipped two (separately boxed) 33x16.5/15 tires mounted on wheels via Greyhound bus. saved a bunch on shipping. Not sure if they still do this but...
