Phil DeesPIT PAY APP
It's hard enough to split money with cash or checks. This won't work.

I know a lot of 3rd graders that would disagree.

Phil DeesSounds like you just don't have much experience with splits.

Big SteveTodd Martin at Tulsa raceway just announced this very same plan with a app. Looks like it may be the future if you want to race

Again. As simply an option or as a
requirement ? Take care. Tom Worthington
If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.

Hotrod CorvetteWell I just looked at the terms and services.
You do know there is a service fee on top of the entry fee with every purchase?
This was the line that really caught my attention
Payment Information. If you make a purchase through our Services, your payment-related information, such as credit card or other financial information,
is collected by our third party payment processor on our behalf. My question is this Chinese software that just has new graphics for it?
Take a look at what their terms really are and what they say they can do with your data.

Canted ValveSo TRP what's it going to be? In the first sentence of the paragraph they state: "When plan on return to racing very soon, however it will be a different way of doing business." Then the last sentence states: "...so that life can quickly return to normal." A new way of doing business is not returning to normal. The sheeple are a very compliant bunch so there will be plenty that comply. However, for a non-essential business (they're not selling grocery's) mandating strict policies to reduced participants and spectators due to inevitable challenging economic times, may prove more challenging than their current stance suggest.

regalSeriously we’re scared to handle a card, check, or cash now. App is fine if it’s an option. Keep this stuff up next thing we know they will say our cash is obsolete. There are still people that don’t play the digital world, guess there no good as a customer now? People just can’t see what’s happening here.

BuckyWhat I don't get is why the tin hats over a decision by a private business. This isn't the government controlling your life. It's a business finding a viable way to overcome obstacles to opening his business. That business owner has no interest in tracking you etc. He has an interest in opening his business.

Big SteveMy biggest concern would be some tracks have terrible cell service or the app not working and I don't get my timeslip. Hell if they are that worried they could hand out timeslips with a 6ft pole with a clip at the end. Also the fee for money transactions sucks but it is what it is I guess. Will just have to wait and see how it all plays out.

Canted ValveIt's THEIR track and they can run it how ever they see fit, good for them. However, not everyone appreciates facilitating draconian measures. I don't see such measures at Walmart, grocery store, Home Depot, etc. They are running a very non-essential business, a business model that has been dwindling for years. Heavy handed mandates will not be appreciated by some.
On another note, can anyone tell me how businesses can refuse to take paper money when it states on the bill "This note is legal tender for all debts, public and private."???

CURTIS REEDI can't see Todd or Keith turning down cold hard cash. EVER! There has been a service charge for using a card for a while now.

Critical option. none.. No provision for an OP out on selling/trading information.. AKA "Clicks for Cash". Down right scary. As if the Equafax breach wasn't bad enough. Enter at your own risk.

Yowsa! Well, that would leave me out of racing there. Sure hope it doesn't become more widespread. Take care. Tom Worthington
