Ok just hook line. You think gas prices are high? Try buying nitro. last year was 1600 per barrel 42 gallons per homeland security. This year at Rainsville divisional it was 1890 and after it went up 130 bucks per barrel. Yes it is not rising percentage wise as quick. Now of course there is zero competition for sales you buy here or do w/o kind of deal.

Yea I know not of interest to most here, just another example of higher cost of playing fast.

What I'm thinking is that somebody is going to have to figure out how to add another digit to gas station signs. Doesn't look too simple to do on many of them. Take care. Tom Worthington

If it seems that bracket racing has gotten too expensive for you, maybe you are just doing it wrong.

Gas is going down here I doubt there are any bracket racers running Nitro. Plus isn't all of it made in china?

Not needed. They’ll change the price to charging by the quart (liter in Canada, EUR now) and all the mathematically challenged people won’t know what is going on.

It is human nature to focus on the here and now. While often times we should be focusing on the big picture. Many think Bidenstine is responsible for inflation. While he certainly has exacerbated it, the core problem started a long time ago. The cost of Nitro is just one of many markers. It's the trend that is important to the big picture. Has anyone noticed we immediately went from covid emergency control to war powers emergency? Once again congress has abdicated it's responsibility to either declare war or control the purse strings.

Exactly what I was thinking.

$2 a quart for gas and half the country will get all excited about the low gas prices.

My understanding is it is all made in China now so just getting it here with Biden Shipping problems may be a problem.
Plus shipping of one container from China was $5,000 and takes about 32 days. In November it was $28,000 and takes 4 months or more. And prices are still going up. No telling what it is now.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

If you remember when gas first went over $1.00 a gallon,no gas pumps were set up for over .99 cent.Gas was sold by the half gallon until the pumps could be be changed to accommodate the higher price...

We did that at my dads's service station, in the 70's, too. That confused way more people, than it should have, for a little while. My dad got tired of explaining it. That was my first job, at 10, in 73, as Mike Dunn used to phrase it, a " petroleum extraction engineer."

You have to put in the effort, to get anything out of it.

Don't forget the illegal immigrant issues. Guess the border is now completely under control.

Biden has nothing under control. By design, it is totally out of control. Why else would a party cheat their butts off to put a total moron at the helm? Answer easier to explain his stupidity.

I believe we were getting something like 660k barrels per day from Russia before all of this.

I also believe if the Keystone XL pipeline wasn't stopped, construction would be finished by the end of 2022. The pipeline would deliver up to 850k barrels per day from Alberta Canada. This would not only allow us to have stopped even considering purchase from the Russians, but it would allow us to refine and export the excess.

Bottom line is, if we're going to use the oil anyway, why are we buying it from a country such as Russia? It's not like we don't have the option to use our own oil, or use oil from Canada!

Fact is we don't! Politicians are serving their best interest opposed to the countries best interest (treasonous). Of course they'll tell you different.... if you'll believe it.

The Keystone XL pipeline might have been online now but the amount of lawsuits it was facing it might not have been either. The fact though is that it was going to transport Tar Sands oil which is a very low gravity oil only good for making plastics and such. It was going to go all the way to the Gulf and be transported over seas. It really wouldn't have done a lot to drop gas prices.

What is going to help is the deal President Trump made in early 2020 with all the major oil producers to drop production by 13% a day. This deal ends in April.

We have more than enough oil that can be produced but it will take some time to get back to where we were. Starting production back up takes maintenance on wells that have been shut in for 2 years. Finding the help to work on the units doing the maintenance is as hard as anything. Oil producers aren't going to work themselves out of making money though. That is just dumb if they do. There has to be a balance and it's not $1.50 gas prices.

We haven't seen anything yet.
Wait until Congresses new plan to BAN ALL OIL Drilling on Federal Land passes, which will pass easily since they own the House and Senate. (YES, even the ones that are currently being used)

https://www.foxnews.com/politi...illing-federal-lands

People forget that oil is used for most everything from plastics to clothes, basically everything we use and do.

Fuel will be over $10 per gallon by mid summer.
This is EXACTLY what the Dems ran on and the people wanted and voted on.
VP Harris even said that's why they got elected.

It's simple, they make fuel prices high and people will start moving away from fossil fuels and start buying solar, wind, electric, etc.

The thing they forget is fossil fuels are what we live off of like heating your house, making tires, moving freight across the country, making anything plastic, etc, driving the price of EVERYTHING UP.

Hang on because it is going to get REALLY BAD.
This is nothing.

As they say, elections have consequences.
We either vote these asses out in November or shut up about what is going on.
