GM/Chrysler/Ford are no longer in the business of manufacturing - manufacturing is just a sideshow to justify their REAL business, endless pursuit of government subsidies and bailouts.

Fact
Gotta stay close to the machine that creates it out of thin air.
Stated another way, manufacturing is just the tool they use to launder their corporate welfare payments/subsidies.
I understand that Tesla makes most of it's profits via selling "carbon credits" to other corporations who manufacture products that consumers actually want and need.
