Are the grandchildren of the Chrysler designers from back in the day now working at GM? This is some out there stuff.

Ohya worked for chevy dealer long time. They have built lots of ugly stuff. To big to fail makes your designers lazy!

The difference between ignorance and stupidity. Ignorance is lack of knowledge. Stupidity is the inability to learn. Don't be stupid

I guess they think everybody who wants a truck wants something that looks like a Mack or a Peterbuilt. Which is incorrect, by the way.

On my Silverado, you pull a pin out, the headlight assembly leans forward, and you can switch the bulbs.

On my Malibu. You have to remove the entire painted bumper cover to change the headlight bulbs, it's a "Dealer Serviced Part" according to GM...

That's a "WTH" in my opinion..

That and decision-by-committee (Thunderbird anyone, oh and that failed project was headed up by a female) with a good dose of corporate politics.

The flat fronts got more and more popular. GM found the limit. We now know where too far lies.
Functionality is more what I look for in a truck. One thing I wouldn't like about that one is seeing where the damn front of the truck is from the driver's seat. We have a new ferd at work with a plow on it. Crap I can't see the plow! And I'm a tall guy. I can barely see the indicators when the plow is down. and with a V plow, geeze its nice to see what you are doing.

I like how on the newer trucks you can't reach over the side of the bed to get something without a step ladder, and I'm not short.

We waited to see the 20s.

The Chevy was a big NO

The GMC was not much better.

We bought a leftover 2019 at a seriously discounted price and are very happy with the truck.

The 2020s fell way short on a few things and the GMC Denali version was almost $80K. Not in my budget.

I looked at the new trucks, but after what i see, I'll keep my '15 CC silverado LTZ, with 143K on it. still looks and runs like new and uses no oil.

I was looking at the 2500's. I see the have a 6.6L gas, but i try to stay away from the first year of anything redesigned. Haven't heard any feedback on them.

I don’t intend to ever get rid of my 2002 3/4 ton D-Max. However, when a non tuned, not abused D-Max comes available with air conditioned seats for less than $20k I may buy one. That’s the only gizmo that I really like in newer vehicles.
