Has anyone else noticed that all the online racing parts stores/websites, Summit, Jegs, etc are now charging state sales tax?

This started since the Democrats went into power earlier this year. Just sayin'............

New tax rules that went into effect awhile back. Some companies have been doing it for a year or so now. Others have been putting it off as long as they can.

Very few that don't collect your home state sales tax when you order on line. But some don't so pay attention

Been going on for quite some time, they aren't "charging" sales tax they are collecting it for your state. Local businesses were taking it in the shorts for years over the no sales tax if you mail ordered, yet we all expected local businesses to stay in business like speed shops. Here in TN it's almost 10% people were saving and the state wasn't collecting.

Jana Thompson got broke up a lot and they said the safety crew was in over their heads. Her car was tore all apart. All that was left was the cage and the engine. Never seen a C/G get tore up that bad.

May be more to worry about than sales tax if this one goes through.. They want to control all currency.

Read it and be concerned, very concerned..

Well, I see helping it local businesses a bit. Not paying sales tax was the big draw to order online from the big box stores.

I order from my local engine guy as much as possible. The fact is, he's so flippin' busy it's hard enough for him to find time to order for what he's building let alone mess with what I need. I just got a set of Mahle 930239305 pistons including shipping and sales tax for far less than what Summit wanted before sales tax. The problem is he doesn't take credit cards. It's checks or cash. BTW, the pistons were on the shelf and it was about a week to get them.

Maybe I can talk him into taking PayPal or something. That way I can use a credit card.

They still are trying to turn us socialist. When is the voting public going to wake up?
