If you have been following this story, how do you think it ends?
My guess is that a bunch of people are playing with money that they can't afford to lose or don't have, and we will eventually all be paying for this.
Current quote on Gamestop GME is $354.Up $160.

Redditors are playing with money that they can afford to lose, that was the whole idea and was a huge part of what allowed it to happen.

The hedge fund managers shouldn't have leveraged more than 100% of the stock and ended up over margin.

It also brought to light the manipulation that is happening because of it and I hope the SEC steps in. I have no problem with making money but when the hedge fund owning part of Robinhood made them shut down buying and only allowed selling it was wrong.

This guys isn't happy either. LOL

Poor people (Main Street) organized to mimic the tactics of the power elite (institution - Wall Street). All was going as planned until the institution (power elite - Wall Street) stepped in and pulled the rug on buying.

I’m in. As Curtis said definitely playing with money I can afford to lose. We’ll see what happens.

These shorts will have to cover their positions and that should drive the price even higher. The question is, what kind of dirty tricks will they pull out next in order to save their as*es? Yesterday and today they halted buying, did big media/social media blitzes trying to drive the cost down, and also the hedge fund were selling the shares back and forth to each other at lower and lower prices to drive the price down so they could cover. But, it didn’t work.

They may get in trouble for what they’ve done, but I’m sure their thought is that it’s better to lose millions in fines then billions to the little guys.

It has already been very interesting and I’m looking forward to seeing what happens now. Currently it’s $321 in after hours trading.

Personally,I would rather make a parlay on the Super Bowl than get involved with this.

There may be some gains as it possibly goes higher, but GME is about a $5 stock at best.It is now like a pyramid scheme. If you can get in and out,you will be fine. The last people holding that can't find anyone to sell higher to will get crushed.
