They are only new to drag racing. They've been building wheels for a long time. They ride the fragile line of making a wheel dangerous by making it light.

Yeah, I should have titled it differently. They have made dirt wheels for a long time but I haven't even heard of them on the drag side until today. I like their wheels and it's nice to have options.
