“Michael had a visit from the occupational and physical therapist today. While not fully alert he was able to respond to their commands. We feel this another positive step towards his recovery. We can’t thank you all for the ongoing prayers and support.”

Update from his sons fb page on 6/6/30 Update on Michael Frizie from son Alex Frizie

“He’s been getting better each day. He has been breathing on his own now. He’s starting to walk with a large assistive device for short distances, eating a small amount of solid foods and talking softly. We are feeling very positive about his recovery. Continues prayers are much appreciated!”

“Thank you so much for your prayers and support!”

Michael was involved in a horrific crash a few weeks ago in his dragster while bracket racing in Georgia and was airlifted to the hospital.

7/4/23 fb Update on Michael Frizie

"Michael has shown good progress since his admission to the Shepherd’s center. He is able to speak and verbalize more now along with being able to stand and pivot from the bed to his wheelchair. He had been working hard with his speech, occupational and physical therapy. Michael still has a lot of work ahead of him but we are know he will continue to progress with the wonderful and amazing people who are working with him. Among others, our goal is to get his trach removed, get his cervical collar off and then work on getting his feeding tube out. Michael is able to eat but they will leave the feeding tube in until he is getting enough nourishment eating regular food. As always, your continued prayers are greatly appreciated."

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Update: still fighting the good fight. I’ve developed this “wobbly” sensation when I walk around , but otherwise doing well . I have what they call a neuro-psych test to let the dr’s know if I’m ready to go back to work and release me to drive so I hope that goes well. Again, thanks for the continued support. I sure do miss being out there.
