Just now got home. Met the man that came the longest distance--Oklahoma--at the gas station as I was leaving, there was at least 1 from Kansas. Good ride home but got a hole in a trailer tire near here, air was still coming out after I parked thank heavens. Good time, saw lots of old friends, met some new ones, and didn't win around. Thanks for having this event. Eman were you there? I thought I saw your car.

No not me, I was watching from home rooting for some of the locals. I saw your car as it was right across from the camera showing the pits during rain delay.

Not when you're the only early Olds on the property. At first I thought it was Hicks old car but realized it was yours.

Missed you Fuzz. Went to Piedmont tonight, place was packed. Jason Harris went 3.80 @ 201 beside Ricky Smith. Guess I'll try to make a race or 2 up there. Again saw lots of old friends.

Wonder why this race which had 713 entries go down the track first round don't even get mentioned on this site. Don't foot brakers matter?

I am referring to THIS site. Scott and crew act like the WFC didn't exist.

Guess SFG wants to get a piece of the cake, good for them.

Steve, Jared, and crew did the absolute best they could with the weather they were dealt. The Bristol and WFC staffs are awesome rolling with the punches and coming out on top.

Scott has always been very good to us. We don't do much advertising except for Facebook so I understand why our events don't get much attention on any message boards. I think I remember Scott posting something on one of the FB topics, congratulating us on the great crowd. We love Mr. Lemen and appreciate what he does for bracket racing.

As for the event, it was incredible to see such a great crowd in Bristol. The massive numbers and the challenging weather did not go very well together. There were some difficult decisions that had to be made, but we made every one of them with the intent to give the racers the best experience possible. Many racers did not agree with those decisions, and we understand that. 502 entries stuck around for a very long day on Sunday, and we ended the weekend with a $50K winner. Many took the refund option that we gave. We appreciate them putting us on their schedule and we hope they make it back to race with us soon.

At the end of the day, we got 3 of the 4 winners that we planned to get, and we consider that a success with the challenges that we had.

Fern, thank you for always trying to make sure there is a positive light shined on the WFC. We appreciate your support. We love ya man Big Grin.

Chuck T, everything good I said about Fern, reverse that and that's how I feel about you Wink. JK bro! You know I love you my brother.

Although I don't owe anyone an explanation I will give it to you Fern.

1 - there isn't a crew, it's me.
2 - my schedule consisted of being gone for 7 days racing in Michigan and picking up my new bodies for dragsters over the WFC weekend. Haven't put up an article for that either.
3 - got home on Monday, spent Tuesday with family for the 4th.
4 - spent Wednesday and Thursday catching up on parts orders from being gone a week.
5 - left Thursday after work and drove all night 13 hours to Florida for my grandfathers 100th birthday party. Left Sunday morning, drove 13 hours home.
6- Worked Monday and Monday Night to get 2 new cars completed for a private test session Tuesday.
7 - Tested new cars all day Tuesday.
9 - Worked Wednesday and Thursday on parts again.
10 - Left Thursday night to race Friday through Sunday.
11 - Caught up Monday on being gone the weekend.
12 - Tuesday had to work plus check wheel bearings on trailer to prepare to leave to the ACE Race for American Race Cars yesterday evening.

13 - Sat down this morning to put up the great article Page Hamlin put together on the WFC and see Jared appreciative post and your crack.

SL... got news Nicole and I are going to be grand parents for the 2nd time this morning from my son and his wife.

Life is good

Thank you Scott. One day when you're ready to get back to your roots, we'd love to have you Big Grin.

Our social media team is doing a very good job. I couldn't be happier with the staff we've assembled. The articles are handled by Jessica Hicks Spears, and she takes 100's of phots as well. She is super talented, and we are fortunate to have her on our team. Paige Hamlin handles most of our posts for round prizes, updates and general information. She is very good at what she does, and she makes sure our awesome sponsors get what they deserve, in terms of exposure. My nephew, Cade Caufield is the 'Footbrake Fast Facts' star, and he has taken our social media presence to a new level with his interviews and race schedule reports.

We appreciate you posting our results article. Congrats on the scheduled new arrival. Great to see your awesome family continuing to grow.

Jared, man, I can't stand ya! Big Grin Love you too, brother. I can't wait to ruin your weekend again by showing up. If I hit the Mega Millions, it will be Labor Day. If I don't, I'll be rolling change to get to the WFC next year. The Coalburg Promotions team has always been top notch, and the additions the last couple of season have been awesome, in what they bring to footbrake racing, and who they are as excellent people.

Tater, that's awesome, congrats!! New ride is looking and running good, been watching the ACE race when I can last night and today. Coming to KRP??
