What a joke, We used to be the toughest and most watched Division in the whole county, now we're the laughing stock. Thank you Trey Capps and the Andy Carter with the Texas Motorplex for ruining bracket racing in Texas.

With Noble kinda in limbo and Tulsa possibly going IHRA I guess the track champions at Ardmore will be the D4 representatives next year at Vegas.

I think bracket racing and racing in general is suffering all over the Country. I do agree that Andy Carter made things worse. Let's be honest though Billy Meyer does not like bracket racing and never has and he owns the track.

"Dunning-Kruger Effect"
-a type of Cognitive bias where people with little expertise or ability assume they have superior expertise or ability. This overestimation occurs as a result of the fact that they do not have enough knowledge to know they don't have enough knowledge.

Before you argue with someone ask yourself, "Is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of a different perspective?" If not there is no point to argue.

Mike there were a few people that ruined bracket racing in East Texas. It's gone down hill from there. I won't talk about dead people. Not sure if Chuck Bishop is still around or not though.

You never know Sammy, those 3 cars that show up every year from Roswell just might shock us one year.

Regan, that's a name from the past I haven't heard in long time. And yes, you guys got the shaft long before the DFW area did but still when Trey Capps took the fun and the meaning of actually making a team out of it and just let everybody race the finals it went down the toilet quick around here.

I think it needed some changes as it was hard for a few of the tracks that were far away to get a full team. Still they could have a list of those available and use them for any team that were not able to bring a full team. I agree with you and do not think the way they did it was the right way.

After the loss of Crandal, then Northstar, then TXR and finally TX Motorplex bracket racing was in the toilet in DFW. Thats when I decided to switch to Top dragster and now its on a fast down hill slide in D4..

Steve, I hope we can return to those days you mentioned. I think it is possible. Maybe the current flurry of activity will shake out for the positive.

Mike G

Please get your #s correct.
We had 4 guys on the Roswell team this year.

We were in the running very early in Round 1.

Round 2, not so much.

But we had a good time.

We did what we could to make bracket finals great again.

LOL, Mike. Sorry didn't mean to cut you guys short. You definitely earned it driving 7 plus hours every week to race @ Roswell and earn a spot on the team.
