While I believe Meziere to be as good of a water pump as you can get, it’s always nice to have options and Aeromotive is a fantastic company.

Speedway Motors has cool new mock up short and long blocks that fold flat.

I’m sure there are other cool things coming from different companies.

I was there and there were a ton of Japanese, Chinese and Taiwanese there selling all kind of stuff. A lot of knockoffs.

Its well worth it to go, (except for the $12.00 bottle water, and $15.00 sandwiches), but you can score some good deals there. for example I looked at the Cummins 2K inverter when they first came out. The guy said if you want one come back Friday before closing and bring $75.00 cash and you can have one.. They write off everything as advertising, and would rather almost give stuff away rather than pay shipping after the show. I picked up a 5 gallon Cheetah tire blaster for my work truck one year for $30.00. The next year I got the 3 gallon blaster for the race trailer, they shipped that one to me, cause the one on the floor was already spoken for.

you need to remember those spaces cost a lot of money. It isn't a cheap show to go to.

You have no idea how expensive it is to do those shows. Some exhibitors are probably spending $500,000 or more to do one show.

Turbosmart budgeted 100 grand. Toyota had to be well over that. They had a huge display.

Bobby Ducote of Street Outlaws/NPK fame had a pretty funny Facebook post with pics of horrible build quality on various SEMA display builds.

And some of those were legs where they lifted the truck. They now have more leverage on them and will surely fail.

I always thought of the SEMA show more of a "whizbang" show than a serious performance products show, that's what the PRI show is for.

SEMA is a wheel and tire show. Unless you are in the repair industry or more so body shop industry there is no real reason to go IMO. Well I used to go to stock up on can coozies but they have gotten stingy with those even Smile Really nothing overly race related. Lots of Chinese Knock off stuff, some of the race parts manufacturers are there but most are not. Every wheel and tire manufacturer in the world is there, and they all rent girls wearing as little as possible. But when you live here that's nothing to see. The cars are cool but MANY have questionable build quality. In the end if you are looking for a more race oreinted show then PRI is it. But if you want to see scantily clad woman then SEMA is for you.

Well now you have another option. Aeromotive makes really nice stuff and everyone I know who has dealt with them has been very happy.
