Could or would someone please explain the F'ng insanity of people hoarding toilet paper. My better half just returned from the Publix store in Port St Lucie, no toilet paper on the shelf. WTF?

The answer is this. How are you and your family going to wipe their azz w/out toilet paper? Those other people don't have to answer that question..... you do. It was a question I asked when I first arrived in Saudi Arabia. There you squat over open air pits and maybe have a water hose to rinse you azz, maybe not.
Having plenty of TP is one of the priorties preached in the prepper community, so that's where it comes from.
