The fans are paying for a show. It’s not about the association, it’s about what the fans want to see. Just like pinks and other shows, the racers, teams and cars sell themselves. Their marketing needs an big adjustment.

In the days before the 7 second rule it wasn't uncommon for one of the drivers to shut his car off and just sit there. But Buster Couch also was known to go open a drivers door and "insist" they get their ass in gear.

The race was seconds from happening, the fans were on the edges of their seats in anticipation, and the starter got emotional because nobody was giving him the attention he deserved.

That chit was retarded.

Only in these times of lefty authoritarian madness, would snowflakes openly claim that was handled rationally.

What I know is this. It was the longest staging duel in history at a national event. Both racers would have likely run out of fuel during the run and there were safety and clean up concerns by the starter and the tower.
So, talk all you want but it was too long. I was there.

It’s Brads show. He knows, it’s his call. We’ll get over it and move on.

Just like DQ'n heavyweight championship fight because neither wanted to come out of the dressing room first.

Safety concerns-hand your kid a playstaion controller, cost too much money for stitches, and a broken leg costs a $$ quarter million dollars to fix, by the time everyone gets their cut.

This country is F'd permanently.

Again learn how to read a rule book. And if you are to stupid to understand it have someone read it and explain it to you. I watched the entire race and I don’t give two sh1ts about a burn down. Big deal neither idiot wants to race so load your crap up and let those that do stage and race.

Expecting a lot from someone who can't keep from running over track fixtures. Roll Eyes

goob- if the starter tells you to move, move it.
