1320racerWho sells the new shorty RED?
It is and you shouldn’t buy one unless you can get it for pennies on a dollar so when you try to sell it, your loss won’t hurt as much.

It's a good thing this thread wasn't about whether you should buy one or what the resale would be. I say buy whatever the he!! you want not matter what anyone else thinks.

As you like to point out often. This thread isn't about your opinion. It's about who sells shorties. LOL

FootlooseCurtis Reed I am liking the 185 inch. You sure can see the finish line better. If I get one it would be my 1st dragster. Never made a pass in one. Will run on pump gas or E85. I am guessing the weight with a sbc around 1750 lb. ?

Dragsters are the ultimate drag vehicle. That said they rarely get out of shape and can be a little boring but I would still race a Landshark if I had one. Given any other dragster option I would pass and keep racing a roadster because I can race with door cars and run most classes. Probably pretty close on the weight with a SB I would guess unless it gets every gadget known to man that guys can't live without now. 185" puts your rear wheels in between door cars and even short dragsters to stay out of the bald spots.

None of them are wise choices. But they are fun choices.

That is not what I meant, we are talking about a Bracket dragster that goes point A to B with out any issues or excitement to print tickets and few aborted runs. At some point where ever that is a longer car would become an advantage and we need all the help we can get.

BuckyInteresting how the market has gone. The shorties seem to be selling easily as long as the cage is large enough.
Anyone shorten a long car? The land sharks seem to have more rake to the top tubes. But the foot box is the same. So the rake is really viable in the cage area. But the rake wouldn’t change in an existing car. So the nose could be an issue. Just thinking out loud
