I missed most of the day, were there buybacks with that entry count?

Brian Whitworth defeats Jeff Serra in the finals. It was 3am, don't have any other details, went to bed at 1.
I'd say they ran about 40 new entries this morning so we should see a bump in car count.
Due to the hurricane and anticipation of rain the next few days off and on, Saturday's 50k and Thursday's 50k have been combined along with all other payouts and prizes.
No reentry again today obviously due to car count.
Wow! what an event. I've been bracket racing now for 42 years and it still amazes me we have the opportunity to race for over $500k to win in a sport I love so much!
Congrats to Bart Nelson (old guy, 60) who defeated Gage Burch (young guy, 20 sump'n) in the final round. Also congrats to Josh Picket for his semi final finish in the Ford Ranger.
Stories abound. Bart had his Dad with him who goes to the majority of the races with him. Assuming he's 80 plus. Bart came to my trailer Thursday night after the 100k saying how much he was struggling and bought a new transbrake button, said he was changing that and the solenoid. Had to do something because he was struggling so bad. Fixed it! Because he didn't struggle after that.
Gage Birch talked about how bad his car was when he first got it and how hard they have worked on it and now how good it is. Was 1 total in the semi's and 8 total in the final for some great runs. Bart just got him laying down 3 total!
I can't see this event ever being unseeded as the top sportsman drag race running. Indy is Big, Pomona is Big, but 750 of the baddest hombres on the planet duking it out over the course of a week takes the cake in my book.
FYI, Bart is 62 years old. Pretty cool winning one for us old guys and bringing all the money back to Texas

That's cool that Bart won at 62, I'm partial to that age!

How many entries were there in the actual Million?
**I know there were 740 cars in the 100K and 728 in the 50K.
I do have a question about the 740/728 numbers.
Is 740 the number of entries, or is this number of actual cars on the property? How many double entries make up the 740? Was it possible to enter more than twice? If so how many triple+ entries?

DragRaceResults
436 entries in the million.
Entries, not cars.
I'd say maybe 50% were doubled, so approximately 2/3 total cars.
usually less are doubled in the million then the surrounding races.
