So I went and did it, started a youtube channel to see if I could grow it a bit and bring a little attention to racing up here in Alaska. My channel content sucks right now, but I'm working on making it better. It's not as easy as it looks, that's for sure. Anyway, I was trying to make another video last weekend, and my trusty GoPro Hero5 Black died on me. I've had it for years, had two batteries, and it's always worked well. I guess one of the batteries decided to say it was done and now won't take a charge....the other one will, but goes dead in about 15 minutes... So I started looking for replacement batteries. Lots of chineseium junk out there that I don't trust, and most won't ship batteries to Alaska...yay... I'll find replacements somewhere, but decided that I wanted a new camera anyway, and ponied pu for a new GoPro Hero13 Black Creator Edition. They were on sale for $100 off, and has a ton of features that would help with my vids I think. Not to mention SUBSTANTIALLY longer battery life, as well as another battery in the included stand that extends this time as well as provides remote control. Pretty cool deal if you like to make videos of stuff.

Anyway, after saying all that, I'd love to hear suggestions for stuff, tips for the camera use if you have them, and any input you might want to offer. I'm just now learning the editing software as well, so that's not going to be too good either....until I get better at it, so hoping to learn a bit there as well.

It's a lot harder than some think to do that stuff, and I'm learning but it's a slow process for me with that.

I dig it. I've also considered doing something similar but I just don't think there is enough interest in bracket/index/class racing for something to be popular. If nothing else it's a way to document memories to look back on years later.

Also, even if the content isn't great, just post it anyway. You'll get feedback and can improve from there.

My son showed me Davinci, and it's working great on my stuff, but it's a lot to learn that's for sure....I can't spend a lot of time on it so it's a slow process for me....
