Seriously do not be afraid you are probably more at risk of getting hit by lightening while filling up your car. I guess anything "Could" happen but I will not live my life in fear of things that will probably never happen.

I drive several different race cars and while I try to be safe and prepare if anything did go wrong I still know there may be some risk. I do not let fear control my life and I sure am not scared of a fuel pump.

The only reason I am not running a Lithium battery is because I prefer to use the weight of a standard battery to help make chassis work like I want it to over adding weight that does nothing. I have moved my battery all over to get car to hook like I want with out wheeling to bad or working wheelie bars to much.
