Tex013we get a few days like that here . I have found since I bought light weight pants and jacket it is a lot more bearable . I dont have a rv so its sit under a awning and keep fluids up .I dont take the race pants or shoes off during day , if im not racing its jeans and boots . Everyone looks at me like im mad . I do take a cool shower if track facilities are good and its really hot, all the tracks I race at are good .

wideopen231WHen its too hot to race. You pull car into shop with AC going wideopen and work on car. That way you are still getting the fun out of the money you spent.

RPROGASWhen I was younger, much younger, on steaming hot days (105+) I would sit in my truck with the windows rolled up in an attempt to get use to the heat. This act of insanity actually helped but at my current age I'm not about to try that again.
