The blown tire photo I posted is 100% a Goodyear Endurance tire, I took the damn photo. just outside Amarillo Texas on the side of the highway. The last picture I posted was the one of those endurance tires off the same trailer...Note the R on the sidewall..

Al AlguireJust for Ed's clarification the spare was also a Goodyear endrurace tire. Oh yeah we also stopped in Amarillo to have the old torn up Goodyear replaced with a new one, just in case given they were all the same age. Hopefully make it clear

And what exactly was the tire involved in this entire thread? Why would I comment if it was a Carlysle or Firestone, or whatever tire? Guess I need to be CRYSTAL clear I would think the tire in question would be pretty obvious. Otherwise why post any of it.....

Al, you inserted into the conversation road heat as to a reason why trailer tires fail earlier than their design parameters in your part of the country and added a photo to illustrate your point, never stating nor showing that the tire was a GY Endurance before my comment.

"claims" to be unclear on that topic at this point.
Well there is also whomever stated it LOOKED like a bias tire.
I posted yesterday that we lost one on the way back from Norwalk. Cant see how it could be more clear what tire it was. But from now on Ill try and be crystal clear for you.

Sorry Al, I stated it LOOKED like a bias because they shred like that but didn't mean that it was one. Didn't mean to start any drama over it. It was just an observation I made.
I have also been running the USA Goodyears. When I heard they were making them in the US I got a set as soon as they were available near me.

67TSCHEVY2G614 ... If you have not had your hands on one in person they are no comparison to any other tire on a trailer on the market. Very heavily built with sidewalls that are comparable to a semi tire . Expensive yep. So are our trailers and cars. Just be sure to run a wheel that is the correct psi rating for the tire psi rating there is a difference.
