Wondering if anyone here has attended one of these show/ races If so what are thoughts on it. How many show up.

Is that what they are having this weekend?

I'm beginning to wonder if that race is even going to take place. They have already advertised that there will be index classes running on Friday night, which is a change from the original plan. They also are no longer discussing what is still planned for Saturday (Oct. 12).

I was gonna go for the 1990 model year and older bracket racing and to witness the Nostalgia Pro Stockers. If either one of those two things are cancelled for Saturday, I doubt I'll go. Take care. Tom Worthington

Well if they do not run nostaliga stuff I will probably got anyway, Need to get runs on car and driver. Hope they do not change it up.

I will call med week and see. If nothing else it gives me motivation to finish up few things on car I should have done past two months while trying to heal hole in my toe. Hell neeed that toe its on throttle foot.LOL

Lets get this pinned down. I would like to go. Don't know if I would recognize Tom---been a long time since 75&80.

Are there separate top and bottom bulb races?

Do not have all info. Could not get flyer to enlarge so old guy could read what is online. Maybe others can find info and post here.

"Track hot @ 10:00AM" was the part that mattered to me. I may make it it there. Take care. Tom Worthington

I called the track manager's number and was able to get a couple of questions answered. Because of that, I plan to be there.

First off, yes, footbrake and Top will be run as separate eliminators, not combined. Secondly, the expected time to start the first bracket race timeruns will be at approximately 11:00AM. The gates open @ 8:00AM. The "old timers" race will run first, including their one timerun. There will only be 8 of them, with no b*yback, so it should not take long. Lastly (and this one actually surprised me), there will be no minimum car count to pay the purse. Hope to see some of you there.

hope all had good time. like norm had few issue with car, mostly self induced with changes. hell figure have built car ten times already. LOL
