Didn't Catch It Right Away Car Ran .06 Slower than normal.... found alternator not putting out charged battery next pass was identical to the 1/8 but slower in the 1/4 than first pass came back battery @19% mph way down at 1/4 also ..... does everyone agree alternator taking a **** can cause this ?

NO not really unless the battery voltage was very low and ignition started to cut out

I made a run once with a battery so weak it would barely run the Moroso electric water pump drive and I had no alternator.

Car ran exactly what it should have and battery was dead by the end of the run and it never missed at all.

An MSD 7 ignition.....

A 31 series stud top battery/no alternator/ GM starter... and it nearly cost me a big win.....

I once had the alternator wire break during a Quick 16 race. I won the race but the car slowed every round and I couldn't figure out why.
