BodiePrimer Pump for methanol
I need to install a primer pump to support my EFI for starting purposes. It must withstand Methanol use. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Undertaker IISimplest thing that comes to mind is a windshield washer pump. Easy to wire, easy to plumb!

markemarkAlthough I have a primer plus system, I do use a cranking multiplier in a 1D table for my EFI with a mechanical pump. I also overdrive the pump by 5% to offer slightly more at cranking.
I was curious about an electric pump so posted this on Holley EFI site knowing that most would say same as what I have….. “use a cranking multiplier” and agree. One person did post the Walbro 392 electric pump.
Another person posted “Many times it’s a setup issue with the fuel tank/ cell being lower than the pump. Cranking Fuel offset helps, but correcting the basics if possible is (In My Opinion) the better solution” and I agree.
It’s interesting to see how others will program IF you can get them to share. I picked up some excellent advice in a pm from another (programmer) but he wouldn’t share all the programming information or a photo. That’s all “Top Secret” and I understand.
I don’t have a problem sharing my GCF (Holley). Just ask.

seabass https://proshop.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-3594Ive been using this one for several years now with zero issues.... it makes around 70 psi
I was told to wire it to the starter but I didn't, I only use it for the first start of the day and occasionally just after a run to get off the track.... fills the fuel lines up pretty fast...
