Hope you have a good race Ducky. We got our dates wrong and I think Kathryn hates missing you all as much as I do. She really enjoyed how Jill and Stacey treated her. I’ll watch when I can.

Quit watching the weather is the best thought

Yes, quit watching the weather. Storms predicted here the last 3 days and not a drop. Weather man has cancelled more races than real rain. Go race.

At long last, IT'S RACE DAY! The 7th Annual Flatout Gaskets Colonial Classic presented by Hot Shot's Secret is about to turn and burn! The overnight rain cleared out much earlier than predicted, and the forecast has been clearing out dramatically compared to just a day ago.

On a more somber note, we lost Mark Adelizzi to cancer this spring, owner of Flatout Group. Mark, this one's for you. Miss you, buddy.

MotorManiaTV.com presented by Summit Racing Equipment will be going live around 11am.

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the first race day of the Flatout Gaskets Colonial Classic presented by Hot Shot's Secret has been pushed back to Saturday. We will be racing for $10,000 to Win in both Top ET and Footbrake on both Saturday *AND* Sunday.

An inch of rain overnight. Track manager Tyler Crossnoe told us, "Track came apart bad as soon as we tried to prep. We will have to start over. Nothing we can do about it with no heat from the sun and 90% humidity." Full scrape and rebuild the surface, 8 hour project.

We are sick over it, every bit as much as our customers. Hoping to give y'all the racing you deserve the next two days.

After winning a Bracket Finals, the Old Dominion Duels, and now the Colonial Classic, it's unlikely that young Nathan Sexton will be able to fly under the radar anymore in his street-legal Mustang. This kid is one bad dude! Rick Bowman was doubled down to 13 in his cool '56 Ford, and carried one entry to the finals, where he fouled against Sexton. Daniel Duff and Jonathan Martin were the semifinalists.

Sunday Footbrake Round-By-Round Results

Jason Hoff has been a Loose Rocker runner-up with his Procharged dragster, but this weekend it was his dad Mike Hoff showing everyone how it's done! Mike Hoff earned the emotional win with an .011 pack in the finals over Gabe Taylor, who was still doubled up to the 5th round. Kenny Young, winner of the very first Colonial Classic $10K, put in another strong bid with a semifinal showing from his new dragster.
