Bless his heart- he tried….
UK lifted all covid restrictions.
They're gonna step off the necks anywhere the masses aren't complying.
This does not include California, New York, Australia.
You people love it perpetually hard, fast and deep. They'll keep giving it to ya too.
Where's the conspiracy theory?

It’s been crickets now. I’m not for the left or right forcing us to do anything. That said we still have a health issue to deal with.

Yeah, their prime minister, after imposing all the mask and vaccine mandates, has been spotted partying maskless on numerous occasions. I think he is trying to save his A$$ by cancelling the mandates and hoping everything just goes away. Wouldn't surprise me if he started a war or something to get folks to focus on something else.

What gets me, from both sides is the intolerance. Covid is a thing, even a deadly thing for some. Now we can go back and forth about how much the numbers have been inflated etc. But most of us know someone who has passed from covid, who would probably be living today if it weren't for the infection. But the question is, what are you willing to give up to reduce your risk for infection or serious illness? It is, and should be, a different answer for every person. My answer shouldn't be the same as yours.
But we have the folks that think that everyone should be forced to mask up indefinitely, and gat all the shots and boosters. Frankly they are not entitled to choose your choice of risk tolerance.
And then there are those who will claim that there is NO benefit to the vaccine, and worse yet, will call those who get a jab, ignorant. Give it a break! You are no better than the maskers. I'm a middle aged fella who had covid early on last year. Missed 3 weeks of work and was subjected to our perverse medical system during that illness. I tested for and observed quantitatively, my antibody level six months later. And made my choice based upon my risks either direction. I have lost a good friend who was so fixated on his rights, that he ignored his personal existing health risks that could be severely complicated should he get covid. I have no doubt he would still be with us had he not gotten it, or had not had such a severe case. Would the vaccine have saved him? No way to know of course. But most of the local severe cases at our hospitals have been unvaccinated. Omicron has changed some of the risk factors. But one thing remains the same:
Our health choices are and should always be ours to make. Without shame or criticism from either side.

Amen. Well said.
It's absolutely bizarre that the majority of the country has discarded rational nuance and context. It's not an all-or-nothing proposition. As usual, the truth exists somewhere between the polar opposite extremes where so many people have chosen to reside.
After seeing the obvious; the statistic that after two years of cleansing, masking, distancing and lockdowns; after destroying millions of businesses and personal relationships; after severely crippling our economy- the covid infections are just as high or higher than ever, a few high level 'healthocrats' are timidly coming forward and suggesting that perhaps all the above precautions were an OVERREACTION! Ya think??? We have become a nation of paranoid, germophobe hypochondriacs.

Last night Bill Maher started his show listing all of the COVID restrictions the United Kingdom is dropping from mask mandates to vaccine passports and saying, “they’re getting back to normal, we should follow this.”
Maher even went so far as to almost commend Florida Governor Ron DeSantis saying, " I was just in Florida. I’ve been there a few times since this started. The atmosphere is just different. The atmosphere was just night and day from California, which was gloomy..."

Of course the mandates, the guidance, the fear....has all been influenced greatly by politics and what works best for who at the moment.

Serious question for the masses: If a person has had the Johnson vaccine, and has developed some health issues that they aren't sure if they could be vaccine related.....where does one look for information? I have no idea if one is related to the other. But trying to do internet searching reveals NOTHING. Now wait a minute. You can find conspiracy theories and incorrect information on nearly everything on the interweb. But not even one thing on vaccine longer term side effects? That seems odd. Too odd.

J&J has only been around for about a year or 1.5 years. How could there be any info on long term effects. It would have to be a projection at best, wouldn't it?

Sorry, I disagree. The intolerance is ALL from the pro-vaccine crowd. Virtually all people I know who choose not to be vaccinated or are hesitant to be vaccinated don't give a damn what other people choose to do, they simply want to be free to make their choice and be left alone. It's the pro-vaccine side (the left) where all the extremism, intolerance, and hate comes from, and the demands that everyone comply or else. This is proven by the statistics posted above about how many would like to see the unvaccinated confined to their homes, have their kids taken away, etc, etc.
